Case Study

Role: Art Direction / Design / Production

Fuller Cosmetics is a direct-to-consumer (DTC) beauty company based in Mexico City, owned by Tupperware Brands. As the packaging design director, I partnered with an outside creative team to redesign several brands within the Fuller portfolio.

Process

Royal Jelly is a skincare line targeting women 30+. Since royal jelly is not a proprietary ingredient, one of the themes our team created was based on the ancient Mayan practice of beekeeping. We applied this to the brand’s story and design to create something unique in a marketplace that is saturated with royal jelly beauty products.

The logotype was updated. The Mayan background pattern is based on a stock illustration. Stock packaging components were used to save on cost. Metallic finishes were chosen to give a premium look and feel, with matte and gloss varnishes.
